A hygienic barrier washer extractor is a special type of side loaded drum machine. The laundry is fed into the drum through a large door opening on one side of the laundry, the soiled side.
When the laundry has been washed, the clean linen is removed from the washer extractor in another room, the clean side of the laundry area. In this way, the bacteria, dust or other dirt particles are given no chance of coming into contact with the clean linen.
